I\’m not saying I wouldn\’t be tempted to do the same, but isn\’t it a little sad? This guy builds a nice little empire for his family and his one love is collecting fire engines. He dies and the whole collection is on the auction block. Cest la vi\’!

I think looking at something non-insurance is kind of different for a change!

Firetrucks and Firefighters have a lot to do with Fire Insurance, Auto Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Health Insurance, and Life Insurance. Without them we would have a great deal of trouble ever getting a product to market the insurance buying public could afford. Stand up and salute Firefighters when they go by on a call (after you get the hell out of their way) or in a parade God Bless Firefighters and the trucks they use too.

yes, and I love fluffy kittens and puppies, too. There is something called pet insurance that is a part of the insurance marketplace. So should we do a story on how cute fluffy kittens and puppies are? I shout a resounding YES!

I enjoy reading fluff articles as much as the next guy. There should be more of them — not only in IJ, but in Business Insurance, Rough Notes, etc. etc. etc. because let\’s face it, INSURANCE IS BOOOOORRRRRRING…..

oh, go ahead….admit it. It\’s very liberating. Say it with me… insurance is booorrriiing….

At least they could have got the name of the town right. I know the family and lived there myself in \”Dunbar, Pa.\”

Greg, you are an idiot. The old grocery store and such are in Dunbar but D\’Amico purchased a marina and cafeteria in Denbo, Pa where most of his collection of fire apparatus and cars is stored.
