It’s bad enough that she committed what is obvious fraud for, what, about $3000. But when caught, she has the audacity to plead \”Not Guilty\”, meaning that by the time it’s all done, between DOJ costs and Federal Judiciary costs, plus incarceration costs, the actual amount of the \”fraud\” will probably be about $50,000.
Why plead \”Not Guilty\”? What is she hoping for, a better plea bargain?
I hope that the only \”bargain\” they offer is for her to plead guilty and agree to the maximum sentencing guidelines.
Chris is correct..in the end, this will cost about $50,000 to prosecute. But instead of jail time or paying back the fines, send her to Mississippi and make her work off the $50,000 helping those afflicted by the storm!!
Jail and chain gang together after she works to help them clean up in Mississippi for about a year would be fitting. It would deter those who are thinking of doing the same thing now or in the future if they did.

I think they still have chain gangs in Mississippi…

Isn\’t it also funny she got $3,000 on a fake address. Somebody hold the gov\’t accountable for its actions!
I do hope they convict with the highest jail term possible. That\’ll save the taxpayers on welfare!
It\’s like the guy in GA that made a claim w/ his ins co that his wife died during 9/11. Guess what, she\’s still alive and doing well!
