Is it that important to have legislation to say NO to kids having sodas at school? What happened to having kids at least at the High School years, being able to make choices based on Parents teaching them. Schools have enough responsiblity of teaching them education without having to control what the kids eat or drink. Kids still have fast food in school. We still see Pizza, French Fries and other items. So why are we so interested in taking soda\’s away? If parents allow it at home, what is wrong with it in school? Is there any statistic that says it causes brain cancer or that it does not help with the learning capability of an individual? We are so focused on things that really don\’t need help. Where we do need help is getting more security in our schools; creating a training program for better school bus drivers; homeland security issues; balanced budget. If the American people see that the government can overextend itself, why is it that we as an individual seem we can too – only to find ourselves bankrupt. Why can we as a country allow us to forgive other countries debt to us, but yet we have a national debt and keep loaning money out. Where is the accountability?

Key: Vote! Let your voice be heard, but use good judgement and not the political party lines. It does not matter if you are Republican or Democrat or even Independent. Vote for whom can make a difference. Don\’t blame the President for everything, because if you look – it was congress who has some partial blame for not taking care of the American People! President is just one person, and it takes more than one to run this country.
