In CT the legislators work over time inventing ways of hindering economic growth. The a veto-proof majority, the state Democrats have spent the state into the most excessive taxation in the country, while at the same time have neglected bringing the transportation infrastructure into the 21st century. I fear CT will never have the opportunity to return to the glory days of being the \”Insurance Capital of the World\” as long as our legislators continue to soak its citizens through sales, excise, energy and income taxation to shift the largesse to Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven and Hartford, the Democrat strongholds that have a stranglehold over the remainder of the state.
