    i agree. as far as what is critical or non-critical — who cares!! there is no money to pay enough workers but yet folks whom are hurt or fires that spread…those are critical fields…but if u want to be fair? u cud always cross train folks to learn a critical job…but then the union wud have a fit!!!….so in reality, this wud be a good way to break a union because they themselves are not being fair or they don’t want to have to pay out of pocket for a furlough….

    funny how some folks just can’t stand being helpful but in this case — union does not want to give money to help those folks whom are being furloughed…

    Close the Governmnent and keep it closed for a long time. This is a good way to determine what is needed and not. We’ll be amazed at how many departments and employees are not needed.
