Evidently the two prior coments posted by people who nothing about GMAC Insurance. GMAC Insurance is a collection of companies that were doing business long before GMAC purchased them. GMAC basically just owns them. They have their own management etc made up of insurance people.

Even so….they are still a financial institution and GMAC is reaping the rewards. Since they are a financial institution, I feel that they should stay OUT of the business and stick to making loans, etc…..taking work away from hard working independent agents and professionals in itself is a travesty. They should keep their noses OUT of it. Now who is the idiot???
This is why banks and financial institutions should stay out of the insurance buisness……
I agree with “It figures”… Keep the banking institutions out of the insurance industry! I only wish it cost them more!
