Nobody, citzens or immigrants, should be permitted to clog our ER’s with routine medical/health issues that aren’t true EMERGENCIES. The ER has become a nesting ground for people without insurance who know they can’t be turned away. Well, they should be turned away and directed to clinics so people with real emergencies don’t end up waiting 5 hours to be seen.

i think your missing the point! it does not matter if you think it’s an emergency or not. because there might have been times where you thought you had one, but it was not truly an emergency. everyone’s life is worth something. it’s too bad that those whom are here illegally think things are free, when in fact it does cost. the code of any doctor or medical professional is to take care of everyone. in a er, everyone has an assessment, that will ensure that those with priorities will go first.

my problem is that we have illegal immigrants in the country who are getting priviledges that are due american citizens and yet, they pay nothing to our taxes which would help with several items. they want education, but then that costs us money for books, food, teachers, etc., but if they don’t pay any taxes, who does? why do we keep burdening ourselves? why don’t we get those folks on social security/welfare to work? there are many jobs these folks can get and make money instead of draining the money. why do we keep paying out when they themselves can help. granted there will be those that can’t go back to work. but there are many who can work and make a contribution to society, except they think that they can relax at home and get free money — it’s not free it’s my taxes! but we don’t get enough guts to ask congress why?! what does it take to say that a person is truly disabled and can’t get to work. there are many jobs that don’t require lifting. many just require using the telephone or computers. some are just packing. there are jobs – just a matter of moving the unemployed into them and helping our gov’t and the taxes.
