Where do lawyers come up with these amounts? I understand the embarrassment to some extent, but where is the permanent damage here? I have to be patted down checking in at the airport every time. Where do I sign up for my ticket to riches?

I need money and am 40 mins away from Baltimore. I need to get me a strip search in front of 30 people! WHATEVER!!!

What a load of crap! I hope he gets $100 for the replacement of his clothes so he can throw, what possibly reminds him of it, away!

I do agree with Doe though, cops are getting to be too rough in some instances. What it does say is why he was pulled over to begin with and why they felt the need to do the search without taking him in, but that’s IJ for you!

And to think…some folks pay good money in chinatown for a good pat down.

WTF – this was a “walk in the park” compared to the lack of privacy – Civil rights we surrender while serving in the Navy !!

Assuming he is an average man with a full head of hair, that’s $1,400 for every hair on his head.

How’s this for an alternative? Sit the cops down in front of a crowd and pluck every hair from their heads.

    Now that’s entertainment!

Don’t give the police a reason to stop you. I’m not suggesting we excuse the cops behavior, but maybe this guy shot his mouth off when he shouldn’t have. That usually generates an adverse response.

You know, I’d like to know WHY the cops submitted him to the public strip shirt.

I agree w/Doe that there are some cops getting out of control. Of course, criminals are getting out of control, too.

And $210 Mil? WTF. Maybe I should start trying to get pulled over so I can file a suit like that. Idiot.

    Geez !
    For $210 mil I’d let a 285 lb ex-covict m-f gorilla named Bubba to corn-beef me in Macy’s g-damn window !

“Allegations of misconduct by the team led prosecutors to dismiss more than 100 criminal cases.”

News flash: You’re only a good cop if… get this… you actually do the job WE PAY YOU to do. If a cop is doing his job in such a way that results in dismissals of hundreds of criminal cases, well then he isn’t doing his job now is he?

Here’s a note to any cops reading this: you are not above the law. Just because you suspect someone of breaking a law does not entitle you to break it in pursuit of that person. The ends do not justify the means. This is the difference between us living in a modern society of laws and the terrorists living in tents in the desert.

Am I the only one wondering why they felt the need to do a strip search …in public…for a traffic stop? What could have possibly transpired to warrant a strip search right then and there? Unless the guy had a bomb up his *** I really see no justification for the strip search.

On another note, had Robocop performed the traffic stop, this wouldn’t have happened
