Look for new warning labels on McDonald’s cups…”Warning, we have no idea what is in this cup. Consume at your onw risk:.

GO JP! NO KIDDING! You order coffee and your cup has to say its hot. Now…I get a stay cold cup for my sweet tea so I don’t feel the hot or cold, but the regular drinks don’t come with a warning “HEY! I SWEAT! I COULD RUIN YOUR TABLES!” I guess I should buy one tonight. I need a new TV!

I did not agree with the hot coffee law suit. I would definitely not be pleased if I drank industrial cleaning products instead of tea though.

How is this woman entitled to $100,000 though? The article says she immediately spat it out had only minor injuries.

Also, is this an expected or intended injury? Their drink machines do not disperse chemicals. Although, perhaps they brew the sweet tea in one of those standalone steel cylinders. Back in my restaurant days we used to fill that with hot water, soap and salt to get the tea residue off. Maybe they had filled it for cleaning the night before and someone forgot to empty it and brew tea for that day.
