    It should’ve hit that Merchant of Venice, that corrupt shekel-meister Madoff on the head.
    -But aside from that crook, why can’t had-tools like a hammer have a strap which the contractor keeps around his wrist.
    Hey: if it was his digital camera, he’d be using the strap. Plus, a life is worth more than a hammer

    Something about a strap-on hammer just doesn’t sound right.

    And why yes, I did just go there…

    Obviously we need tougher hammer control laws in this nation. When hammers can jump off a building and attack innocent passers by without provocation it is a sure sign that something needs to be done to put stricter regulation on hammers. I think we need to immediately start a licensing program for all hammer purchases and require that serial numbers be imprinted on the face of the hammer so it leaves a record of everything it has hit.

    I hope this attack wasn’t racially motivated. Perhaps the hammer has issues with a certain group of individuals who often drive these cabs. It would be a shame to stereotype all hammers due to this one unfortunate incident. I, for one, think this hammer should attend sensitivity training and only after displaying compassion towards cabbies, should it then be allowed back on the worksite.

    In addition the owner of the cab should in fact sue the manufacturer of the hammer for not including a safety label that advised “if hammer falls from the 43 floor property damage could occur”

    P:well, sir, can i have your license and registration?
    H:sir, was i supposed to have one? my owner did not keep a receipt. as for registration – i think my owner has be listed on a toolbox somewhere.
    P:do you know how fast you were going?
    H:well, i can’t see anything. as you can tell, i don’t have 2 eyes to see. just a handle and flat head with a 2 pointed prong on the end.
    P:i’ll let the scientists discover that actual speed. i’ll be right back. i need to review the evidence.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    p: mr hammer, here’s a few things for you to sign…
    1) reckless flying w/o a license to fly as permitted by the faa.
    2) speeding faster than low flying limits allow.
    3) no license or registration upon the takeoff and flight.
    you are require to be in court.
    h: what?
    p: sir, you can talk to the judge.
    Can someone explain why they would be spending money for New Headquarters considering they can’t pay their current expenses without a bailout? Maybe I’m missing something but with all the forclosed buildings maybe they could just make do like the rest of us. What am I missing?
    Could you please keep this discussion on topic. The fact is this was a racist hammer that should be convicted of attempted hate crimes for trying to kill that poor cabby.
    Who says the IJ is only good for a 4:30 friday laugh. It works just as well on monday!
    Getting nailed is a lot more enjoyable than getting hammered.
