Massachusetts Drivers Can View Driving Records Online

Massachusetts drivers can now view their records online.

The Registry of Motor Vehicles announced Monday that drivers can see their driving records on the Registry’s Web site and download them or request certified copies.

An unattested driving record can be viewed, downloaded, saved or printed for $6. A certified copy of a driving record with the registrar’s signature can be ordered online for $20.

Registry officials say more than 57,000 driver records were requested last year, and copies of driving records are often required as a condition of employment or court matters involving vehicle violations.

The Registry says site traffic increased 23 percent since last year because of five other new services, including renewing Massachusetts IDs and registering as an organ donor.
