isn’t that funny! but the permits, are they not purchased by the construction companies? so, the money is actually going to pay them to construct these things and then part of the money comes back to the state in the form of getting permits. um..um.. they will take that permit money and use it for something else and hopefully make a budget meet somewhere. i did not think that Rhode Island had a problem w/flooding? why don’t more states ask for this amount of money for their flood problems?
The Federal Government is paying the State so it can pay for permitting?!? Isn’t that the State is using Federal monies to paying themselves?
