I haven’t driven on the Mass Turnpike in years, but as I recall, it is a toll road and if it still is, it appears the registry will be picking up some additional funding via the tolls from those who need to go to the new registry office if their local office was closed will have to pay to get there.
All of the Turnpike service plazas have back entrances which will provide access to this new Registry location without having to pay a toll. Parking WILL be an issue, and you should be sure to wear your walking/running shoes.
