    how many of those so-called pedestrian hits were actually the pedestrians fault? how many of them did not stop when the hand came up red/orage? how many of them were running through trying to make the so-called white flashing and reality it was already orange for stop? yes, another way to add points to an accident they are going to get a ticket for plus a right of way violation plus more points for an accident… um … going to be expensive eventually to have to walk versus riding…

    Its not the cross walks with lights, and Indicators that signal the pedestrians that is the problem. It’s the cross walks that are just White painred, and in some towns marked with a plastic cone. Many drivers don’t even see those and drive right by you if you are in the cross walk. They don’t even see the pedestrian!!!
    Strengthening the law won’t help though because where are the cops to ticket drivers who don’t yield/stop? The pedestrian is not quick enough to catch the liscence plate and report.
