Yooray! The jury got this one right. This guy was on death’s doorstep before these medical professionals tried to help his sorry _ss. Seems the widow (greedy _itch that she is) retained multiple attorneys to try and make her rich. I can hear their joint & several wailings now. Just think………they took a shot and missed. I think the hospital should file a counter-claim for it’s defense costs.

Madgar, I think the REAL issue here is that the highly vaunted medical industry (yes: it is a BUSINESS, and a BIG business)with all the knowledge & computers in the world, still condemned the victim by not following a few steps to check the kidney for any disease.
Again, friends it’s all about MONEY, and none of them give a good g-damn about us !

To actively test for all possible diseases that a donor organ may have requires that the organ be sustained, optimally while still in a living person. After a person dies and their organs are harvested (if they were an organ donor), there is a very narrow window of opportunity for the organ to be used; most organs can only be preserved outside the body for somewhere between four and 24 hours. By the time all the possible testing would have been done, the kidney in this case would have decayed to the point of uselessness.

Do some research next time and keep from looking like a fool.
