the jury got this one correctly. afterall it does not matter what the state was doing w/the roads, it’s still the professional driver (hence cdl license) you are responsible for your rig. if you allowed it to run fast and out of control, then you fault. it’d be the same if i used my own personal vehicle and there i don’t have to have a cdl license. if that load needed to be moved, you could have w/slower speeds or waited til better road conditions. if you think about it, it could have cost him (driver) his life as well!… job well done!
