This is a violation of my client’s civil rights. (He doesn’t know that he’s my client yet.)

    Withdrew the claim? Duhhhh.
How bout his withdrawal from society for a couple years? Where’s the arrest and conviction?

One can only assume that the claimant would learn to be more careful if he spent a couple of years in the big house. Lesson one on day one: Slipping on a bar of soap in the shower can be a slippery slope………

I would imagine with the many many fraud cases that these people deal with they basically gave the guy two choices, A: withdraw your claim and go home or B: continue this path and we’ll take you to your new home.

funny how NY state will chase contractors long and hard for alleged payroll fraud/suppression, but nothing for this blatant insurance fraud? How’s about this guy becomes the poster child in NY for insurance fraud? WTH!

What the city needs for petty crimes like this is a “good squad” to deal “off the record” with creeps like this guy. I’d bet that after a good beating and promise of a return visit if ever caught again, he’d think twice about a repeat performance.
