There is clearly more to this story than what’s printed in this article. Was there “add on” UMBI or was it traditional. Was the suit criminal or civil? The “facts” of the case are different on every UM claim. There isn’t enough here for an intelligent discussion IJ.
Geico screwed me over when I was hit by one of their Insured’s. It’s nice to see they also go after their own customers. LOL Sad story though. I love the Lizard, Gecko, but won’t ever be their customer.
And what was his agents opinion on the wording of the policy? Oh, right…he knew enough to buy it himself.
