This is a shame, an indictment and a mortal sin upon the Catholic church. The lack of oversight, the absolute unchecked power priests had over their parish, the fact that parents would believe a priest over their own children in many cases, all created the environment for abuse, not just sexually but verbally, psychologically,and physically all of which have changed many childrens lives forever. And this is not only going on in the Catholic Church but many denominations have this hidden secret. It’s time for all perishoners to do what the railroad has always told us to do. STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN.
