Welcome to the wonderful world of MA insurance.

Step 1) Unsuspecting folks get their personal info compromised through no fault of their own. 2) Personal info is used to compromise your credit. 3) MA insurance companies refuse to write a quality homeowners policy (HO3, HO4, HO5, HO6) or dwelling (DP1, DP2, DP3) due to undesirable credit score! Gotta love our corporate world. If Senate Bill S-461 does NOT get passed the insurance companies will also be able to use this information (and other socio-economic factors) for rating or denying your auto insurance! Tell your state senator to support this bill or watch what happens. Our experience is that young families with student loan payments and regular life expenses (mortgages, rent, car payment, etc) are being denied quality home/renters insurance because of their “credit score”. What a dastardly thing to do in American life….go to school…buy a car.. rent or buy a home!
