GEICO Appoints 2 Vice Presidents in New York Regional Offices

GEICO, a Chevy Chase, Md.-headquartered auto insurance unit of Berkshire Hathaway, appointed two vice presidents in New York regional offices.

John Pham has been named vice president of GEICO’s Woodbury, N.Y., regional office. Prior to his promotion, Pham served as assistant vice president in the Woodbury office.

Pham joined GEICO in 1990 as a management intern and advanced through the claims ranks. In 1999, Pham became a sales director and later served as general manager of GEICO’s motorcycle division before becoming sales process coordinator for the company’s competitive advantage leadership group. He then served as assistant vice president for claims in GEICO’s regional office in Fredericksburg, Va., prior to assuming the assistant vice president role in Woodbury in 2006.

Additionally, Seth Ingall has been named vice president of GEICO’s Buffalo, N.Y., regional office with responsibilities for New Jersey and the Northeast. Prior to the announcement, he served as regional vice president of GEICO’s Woodbury, N.Y. operations.

Ingall joined GEICO in 1986. He served as an administrative senior claims attorney in the company’s home office claims department. He was named assistant vice president for GEICO’s claims operations in the Fredericksburg, Va., regional office and later served as vice president of all claims operations in the country. In 2007, he was named vice president of the Woodbury regional office.

GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is the third-largest private passenger auto insurer in the country. It provides auto insurance coverage for 10 million policyholders and insures more than 16 million vehicles.

In addition to auto insurance, GEICO offers insurance products for motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and mobile homes. Coverage for life, boats, homes and apartments is available through the GEICO insurance agency. Commercial auto insurance and personal umbrella protection are also available.
