“The annual vehicle safety campaign began Monday with the help of 17 state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies.”

That’s got to be a good percentage of all possible agencies in that 3 county state!

Zero tolerance = zero thought. Newport strictly limits speed to 30 MPH, a speed at which nobody would be killed in an accident, and in cars with airbags nobody would even be injured. But then they turn around and enforce seat belt laws too, a feature which is unnecessary at 30 MPH and also the business of the car occupants, nobody else. Police state anyone?
