More like, “lies about it”. ‘Gestapo’ – get real! Unbelieveable BS coming out of the GOP these days. Prime example is this goofball.

Grow up Governor. Self Reliance? You mean like the current system where I don’t even need health insurance to go into an ER with any condition and cannot be turned away? That is a law (signed by Reagan!) that guarantees I must be cared for, regardless of the cost. Yeah. I can rely on myself to say I am not going to pay $800 per month for an individual policy and instead rely on the government (maybe even the Maine unreimbursed medical fund) to pay my bill. That’s the system we have now and this guy is too dumb and blinded by trying to score political points to realize it. He can only come out with sound bite statements like gestapo rather than act like an adult. When will seemingly intelligent people in power realize that you cannot have a system where only those who need it buy it?

I haven’t decided yet if the health care law is good or bad but I do know one thing and that is there are a lot of people out there that are self reliant and don’t buy insurance. Those of us who are responsible are going to pay for healthcare for others, one way or another.
