So the N.E. sector of USA will finally get some underwriting like FL gets? We’ll see how many companies PULL OUT of writing property coverages in the NE???
I’m not sure why this continues to be called “Superstorm” Sandy. Wasn’t it downgraded to a tropical storm before it landed? Wait ’till the big one(Monstrous storm Margaret)finally hits.
Considering that basements aren’t really basements and hurricanes aren’t really hurricanes, they deserve whatever reprecussions they get. It would serve them right if it did fracture their market and create one of the largest state run insurers in the world.
(But, it won’t. There’s too much premium to be had.)
