Conn. Issues Stop Work Orders to 27 Construction Firms for Misclassifying Workers

    Are you kidding me? Contractors would never do that! lol

    This is the never ending battle, misclassifications of workers. And then a year later I’ll have a 6’5″ 200lb contractor coming into my office screaming that he is being back charged $15,000 because he said that his “helper” was an office clerk.

    It’s seriously a broken system and something needs to change. And in their defense, the prices are sometimes extremely cost prohibitive which also provides a hurdle for increasing employment in this country.
