Gowrie Group, an independent insurance agency based in Westbrook, Conn., appointed Kristen Lincoln as an account executive within the firm’s commercial insurance department.
Gowrie Group said Lincoln brings to the agency a strong background in law, politics, and organizational leadership.
In her new role, she will focus on bringing the agency’s niche insurance programs and services to municipalities and non-profit groups throughout New England. Lincoln has been serving as an organizational director and an executive for a sporting events group after receiving her law degree in 2010. She will work out of the firm’s North Kingstown, R.I. and Westbrook, Conn., offices.
