I have a friend with an artificial arm who was initially told that a hook (rather than an artifical hand) was sufficient and that NO adjustment of her prosthesis was necessary. I’m grateful that the Prosthetics Industry Group understand the true needs of amputees. God bless them!
If we started looking at other technologies like stem cell research and regenerative medicine, we might not be as dependent on prosthetics which could mean a drop in price. It’s a shame that this necessary tap has such an incredible price tag.
