We bought a new house and our old house is vacant one year ago. Only this past month we were informed by our insurance company that the policy we had in place for years would of not covered the property if we filed a claim for a fire, robbery etc. So for over a year we paid our insurance bill and it was useless.

We have had no problems with having our mail sent to our new address but the insurance agent claims they tried to send us mail but it kept coming back to the office.

With all the abandoned house and houses for sale in this economy one would of thought that LD 1413 would of passed. But no once again we have more evidence of politicians in bed with the insurance lobbyist’s.

The people of Maine need to vote out of office those politicians that constantly sell out to the lobbyist’s and not back the people of Maine.
