How about paying back the 60 Billion in relief aid that was so needed but not used? That is what you get when you have a blue state hit by a hurricane. If Florida or Texas was hit, the Feds could have gotten away with paying the actual amount of loss which typically runs around 3 or 4 billion, not the 60 that New York and New Jersey got!

Amen, Sarah! I’ve been wondering the same thing for the past few months.

The State with the most FEMA aid? Texas 1978-2011 $5.5 billion, Flordia 3.6 Billion, Mississippi $2.8 billion. Your partisan, political whining is ignorance at its worst.

The $60 Billion package was not only for New York and New Jersey is was for all States affected by Sandy, from Maine to Florida and inland to PA, OH, MI and numnerous others.

The Northeast has been helping to pay for national disasters from hurricanes, tornados, flooding and forest fires for years. We are pleased and honored to be able to help our fellow citizens recover, rebuild and prosper after natural disasters. Thank you for your support!
