It appears there is nothing that Demnocratic legislators, once they have the votes, do not want to regulate – on the premise that they know more about every industry, trade and profession, than is known by those in the industry, trade or profession. All, of course, on the theory (not fact) that the legislators are seeking to provide a benefit of some kind to the public. Just a dollop of humility, please. Legislators everywhere just get the hell out of the way of good old fashiond American competition and ingenuity.
