As always, after claiming the authority to regulate, and then failing miserably to keep people safe, government’s solution is to make more regulations that will ultimately cost taxpayers and consumers even more money without keeping anybody safer.
If a private entrepreneur did such a miserable job, he would be out of business in a week. But with government, the solution always is to give it more money and more power.
Why aren’t people demanding that every regulatory agency connected with this disaster be closed and the employees held responsible for these deaths?
