I am a big fan of the Big Man. Fiscal conservative on some issues, maybe a little too conservative on others where his personal opinion is perhaps steered more by his religion than his experience. But at least he seems willing to let the plebiscite decide which way to go, which is refreshing.
But this one takes the cake. I think Christie got caught and simply refused to say what has been all over the radio since last week; one of his appointees really screwed up. This wasn’t a simple error based on a simple misunderstanding. It was a govt agency with poor planning and lousy execution. Which I thought he was supposed to tackle.
Maybe somebody threw him a Krispy Kreme or two and he looked the other way.

Christie is not a fiscal conservative. If he was, he would not have authorized $12,000,000 for a special election considering there was already a primary scheduled. He is a plotting politician who is hoping for a long political career…on our dime! Where did he find $12 million for a special election yet still look to the Feds (taxpayers) for storm damage, etc? just wondering..

Why wouldn’t he look to the Feds, they don’t care how much of our tax dollars they spend. It’s like monopoly money to DC.

Christie is all about Christie, nothing more, nothing less. Tossing a little guy under the bus to protect himself isn’t even a second thought.

He Gov.: I’m still awaiting for you to get under the hood and fix the underlying issues regarding the insane property taxes in NJ. That is THE most important issue facing the state and curbing the exodus of people. But, you are too busy flying all over the country campaigning for others, throwing Civil Servants under busses, and bullying those who disagree with you.

Conservative, really? I was thinking he would do better running on the DNC ticket.

That’s because that is how moderates in the Republican party are perceived circa 2008 and on.

If this was caused by a low level manager, that would mean there was a higher level manager that didn’t do their job and follow up with the results of the task delegated to this employee. This is what you call trickle down sodomy.

Don’t these guys have a disaster-preparedness team? Every Corp with more than 10 or 15 employess must have a disaster preparedness / recovery plan, and many times – FILED with the state.

Shouldn’t they be watching their own house too?

This goes way higher than some mid-mgmt scapegoat.

No one inquired where $120 million in moveable assets were stored right before Sandy? This is more than a low level manager responsibility. Check, check, double check. And, no, I don’t mean sending a check.
