    $50 million! And counting.

No price can be attached to the anguish and inner turmoil that the victims will feel forever – very high price to pay for keeping their heads in the sand.

As a child abuse survivor my blood is still boiling over the horror that was inflicted on those kids and the way the staff pretented it wasn’t happening. Just despicable!

My sympathies go out to you for your horrible experiences.

It will be very interesting to see what comes out at the trial of Curly, Schultz and Spanier. While I honestly don’t think Paterno was part of any cover-up, he did the absolute minimum here. What is a fact is that he was told that Jerry was seen in the shower with a young boy. Regardless of how graphic McQueary got with his description, that alone should be enough to at least raise enough suspicion that something inappropriate was going on. Joe was an absolute God to many of us up at PSU; he got what he wanted and if anyone could have had Sandusky banned from campus, Joe could have.

    May God heal the victims.

“After that came $8.1 million paid to the law firm of former FBI director Louis Freeh, who the university commissioned to write a report that laid out a narrative of the scandal, which many in the state rejected.” You would think a college would be smart enough to either write their own narrative or have paid someone alot less than $8.1 million. And then it was rejected by many. At least have some sort of agreement, but to just throw away that kind of money and get nothing in return. They should have just added that money to the victim’s fund.
