Libby, Gov Christie could always say as “your president” does, “I just found out about it when I read the paper.” Why is it bad when Gov Christie does it but the white house idiot has done it time and again. Let’s apply the same amount of scrutiny.
Now that Carl Lewis has jumped into the fray, it is clear all of the allegations are false.
I draw that conclusion because the facts surrounding Carl Lewis’ attempt to run for the Senate are irrefutable; he did not meet the residency requirement in New Jersey law, period. At the time he said it was racism, it wasn’t. When he was in the Olympics, he claimed Houston was his hometown and when he tried to run for the Senate, he had been registered to vote in California until a year earlier.
That the mayor of Hoboken had handwritten journal entries is not evidence that anything was said and the record shows that nothing was done as punishment.
And as far as the lane closures out of Fort Lee to the GW, politics as usual in NJ as anybody who ever lived there already knows…political corruption is the only certainty.
This is a group of well connected democrats trying to run a smear campaign of exagerations, falsehoods and innuendo.
