FM Global, the Johnston, R.I.-headquartered business property insurer and Rhode Island’s largest private company, said this week it is planning to add 36 new information technology positions at its corporate offices.

FM Global said it is seeking software engineers, business analysts and quality assurance engineers to work in three areas: application development; information technology security; and data analytics.
