National Interstate Enhances RV Coverage In New York

National Interstate Insurance Co. has enhanced its specialty recreational vehicle insurance product offering in the state of New York with additional coverages including total loss replacement, agreed value, and consignment.

According to Tony Mercurio, executive vice president and chief operating officer at National Interstate, standard auto policies do not protect against the exposures faced by RV owners, especially the significant impact of depreciation and total loss. National Interstate’s offering that covers everything from custom equipment replacement, to personal effects, to vacation liability.

National Interstate Insurance Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of National Interstate Corp., is a specialty property and casualty insurance company with a niche orientation and focus on the transportation industry.
