How about calling it what it really is – obstruction of justice. Speed limits are not merely a revenue source for local governments. There really is a safety reason. Of course the idiot flashing his lights probably didn’t prevent many tickets since most of the other drivers probably were looking down at their text messages.
If someone flashed their lights when there WASN’T a speed trap for drivers going in the other direction, what percentage would slow down and simply assume that there actually was a trap.
Maybe they just assumed they missed seeing the well-hidden trooper.

What a travesty of justice.

When we lived in Delaware my Dad’s Brother got a speeding ticket in that speed-trap! oh dear!

Funny you should mention that because my uncle’s sister’s daughter got 2 tickets there…now who’s up for some lunch next Tuesday?
Scrapple on a roll? Only thing better is muskrat at Ernie Council’s. Or whatever they call that Quonset hut nowadays…
