New Jersey’s Selective Insurance Announces Officer Appointments

Selective Insurance Group Inc. in Branchville, New Jersey, announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America.

Martin Hollander to senior vice president, chief audit executive. Hollander joined Selective in September 2014. Previously, he was vice president, Internal Audit at QBE North America.

Michael Baisley to vice president, Investments. Baisley joined Selective in November 2010 as assistant portfolio manager. In his prior experience he worked as a consultant to private equity firms and started his career with Prudential Financial Inc.

Shannon Backus to assistant vice president, regional safety operations manager. Backus joined Selective in August 2014 after positions at Travelers Insurance and Key Risk Insurance Company.

Robert England to assistant vice president, Enterprise Infrastructure & Security Architecture. England joined Selective in August 2014. Previously, he was a senior IT manager at LSI, an Avago Technologies corporation.

John Lacy to assistant vice president, Workers Compensation Line of Business manager. Originally an agency management specialist with Selective in the 1990s, Lacy rejoined Selective in October 2014. In the interim, he was a group benefits division leader for Bouchard Insurance.

Harikrishna Raghumandala to assistant vice president, IT Enterprise Data Architecture. Raghumandala joined Selective in September 2014. Previously, he was a solution manager for Tata Consultancy Services at The Hartford.

Martine Whitehurst to assistant vice president, regional claims manager. Whitehurst joined Selective in August 2014. Previously, she was an auto field product line manager at Travelers Insurance.
