a very important rule they don’t mention is to only hire a contractor from your local area that has been in business there for some time. one of the main problem is itinerant “contractors” that are traveling thru.
I agree, bob. Also, checking out a company’s history of complaints (such as from the Better Business Bureau) before giving them permission to work would also go a long way to avoid being scammed.
