I thought the President said he would make “sure” the red tape would be cut as he gave Christie and big hug. Hmm! Not so much.

Listen up folks. The NFIP is a congressional act, not a give away program. Being I handled hundreds of losses in NY and NY, I met a lot of really good people who built, improved, and thought this event would never happen. Opps…..Flood plain means 1% chance of flooding. When you build on a sand bar, and county officials seem to turn their heads on flood plain regulations, and NOW, they want to sue everyone involved (False engineering reports are simply political from your congressman there)
Experienced professional adjusters work 18 hours a day, give every ounce of energy to the consumer / homeowner so, now, lets re-think if you build in a flood plain, things will happen.
Gee, I’ve been flooded 7times in the Keys, and we just start fixing things on our own. We need to get real with the expectation, that flood waters will one day effect you! If we live on the coastal area, so called SHORE, be prepared , as I am, and get busy making repairs now. Waiting on your attorney, Uncle Sam, sure will delay your completness. GET UP, AND MAKE REPAIRS
