Rhode Island’s Attorney General Releases PSA on Dangers of Drunken Driving

Rhode Island’s attorney general has released a public service announcement on the dangers of drunken driving.

Peter Kilmartin says the 30-second video focuses on young drivers, who are inexperienced and often don’t consider the consequences of driving while drunk.

Kilmartin says he will use social media to circulate the PSA. The video is posted on YouTube.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) say the rates of drunken driving are highest among people between the ages of 21 and 25.

The CDC says one in 10 teenagers has driven while drunk.
