They must have had orders from the Gov. to ticket, ticket, ticket because our budget is in the toilet! Right now it is. Who knows. Every month we go from surplus to deficit with a MILLION excuses as to why this is happening! The BIGGEST problem is OVERSPENDING! It will never change! Businesses and individuals are moving OUT of the state! CT is ALL ABOUT TAXES!

Robert, join the crowd leaving NY and Illinois due to taxation and regulation and overspending. Blue States will never learn.

By the way, I wonder how many tickets were issued for texting while driving.

I am amazed that there were that many DUI arrests on Labor Day weekend. I think Labor Day weekend marks the end of the 100 deadliest days of summer. Those extended weekends mean trips and parties, drinking beer with your friends and family. Some people think DUI check points are unconstitutional, but the supreme court has ruled that the benefits are worth the delay and minor inconvenience to other affected drivers to rule it acceptable.

I wonder how many tickets they could write on a typical big time college football game or an NFL game after fans have had their tail gate parties for 2-3 hours before the game and then drink during the game. Some of those fans are really blasted by the time of kickoff.

God forbid they tamper with BIG MONEYMAKERS like NFL games! I’m sure that’s a no-no!
