FFA, isn’t it hilarious that all the left leaners blame Republicans for their disaster 5 years running? Then, they say that Republicans have no plan if it is repealed and criticize all the repeal efforts since it wouldn’t get to Obama’s desk. Did you remember Nancy saying she had to pass it to see what was in it? Do you remember Obama with his multitude of lies on savings? How about Jonathon Gruber and his lie filled manifesto? Conservatives know the truth about how all this came about.

FFA, since this story was published, we did get the monstrocity repealed, but got the veto pen. We will have to wait until Jan17 and then maybe something good will result. In the meantime, the leftists will keep singing the praises of the signature legislation.

FFA, a friend of mine sent me a good one you will like.

      Bad News About Grandpa

An elderly man had a massive stroke and was rushed to the hospital. After a while, the ER doctor came out with a long face.

He said, I’m afraid Grandpa is brain dead, but his heart is still beating

Oh, Dear God, cried his wife. We have never had a liberal in the family.

UW, every problem in Health Care is Obamas fault. It would seem logical that the Republican idea was not to have poorly managed Co Ops that came in under priced to build market share. It all fails or succeeds with Obamas name attached to it.

Hi FFA, I hope you are doing well up there on the frozen tundra of Wisconsin. Are you burning a lot of that extra firewood you have now? I wonder how those Global Warming dudes are doing under the blanket of snow in the N/E. Obama will have to make another trip to Hawaii if this keeps up or schedule his trip to Cuba.

I suspect the real question that should be asked is “were the financial results reported by the surviving co-ops fir 2014 really accurate?” The fact they are getting handed their heads in 2015 with claims expenses implies to me that several of these insurers possibly underestimated their needed 12/31/2014 claim reserves and have discovered in 2015 the reporting and development “tail” is far larger than expected.

There is also a chance that some of those insurers were overbooking revenues based on expected payments from risk corridor adjustments that never materialized and the reversal of the revenue never received is driving claims as a percentage of the reduced revenue through the ceiling.

Either way, I suspect poor accounting may be as guilty of the current period bad results as it was for favorable results reported for 2014.

666, it all comes down to the massive lies of the Obamanation Administration. They had a bunch of thugs designing and implementing all the theories and none of them worked with the American people and look what we have to show for it.

Critical, you make some good points about medical care in this country, but Obamacare was not a good start to solving anything. Anything grounded in lies, deception, bribes, corruption, mandates is not a good thing. That is why it has now been voted to repeal and only the veto pen saved it – for now. It has now led to more unemployment and how is that a good start? Wake up man and smell the coffee.

The reason that CHO is failing is because it is a lousy deal. Its too expensive and covers too little.
The MGt also gave themselves huge raises this year. Insurance profit is based on taking in premiums and not paying out benefits.
The private HC and Insurance mkt in this country combines high costs and bad execution that can only come from near monopoly conditions.
Time to get rid of that system.Medicare for all, with a well regulated system.
