The Brethren Mutual Insurance Company in Hagerstown, Maryland, has hired Kimberly Foltz as Personal Lines underwriting manager.
Foltz brings 26 years of insurance experience in property/casualty marketing and sales with Travelers Insurance Company, Agency Insurance Company, Progressive Insurance, and Metro Insurance Agency.
As Brethren Mutual’s Personal Lines underwriting manager, Foltz is responsible for the development and implementation of Personal Lines underwriting. Additionally, she oversees Personal Lines profitability, productivity, growth, and quality; provides agency management leadership; and coordinates underwriting training programs.
Foltz is an active member of PIA (Professional Insurance Agents) and currently serves on the Awards, Convention and Education Committees. Additionally, she is an approved continuing education instructor for the commonwealth of Virginia. Foltz was named the 2008 National PIA Outstanding Company Representative and the 2008 Virginia/D.C. PIA Outstanding Company Representative. She holds the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.
