    This should not even require “re-opening” the suit. There should be automatic double or treble damages for any suit wherein the defendant deliberately HIDE information to protect their own interests. Should be a quick appeals panel to hear the evidence and make the penalty stiffer for this situation. There is way too much of this lack of integrity in American business today (which may not originate here but manifests here) and it seems the only way to make a statement is to hit them in the wallet; so let’s make it reasonable and simple to do so, when necessary. The same penalties should apply regardless of whether the manufacturer is based in the US or simply accesses our marketplace to sell their products.
