AssuredPartners Inc. announced that it has acquired the business of Archer A. Associates Insurance, an independent agency based in Franklin Square on Long Island, New York. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The team of 21 employees at Archer A. Associates will continue to operate under the leadership of Charles Torsiello, president. Founded in 1952, Archer A. Associates reports approximately $3.5 million in revenues.
Based in Lake Mary, Florida, AssuredPartners acquires and invests in insurance brokerage businesses (property/casualty, employee benefits, surety and MGU’s) across the U.S. and in London. From its founding in 2011, AssuredPartners has grown to $500 million in annualized revenue, with over 120 offices in 30 states and a London office.
