    This is fantastic! If more hospitals follow this protocol, we can begin to take a stab at the Opiate Addiction Disease that is out of hand.

    And this protocol doesn’t require a new set of regulations to criminalize another group. Prescribing guidelines should already be a part of physician training, if only to stress that a trend has developed in our modern world where folks “need” something to get them through their day. New realities do not need new laws. that is the approach that does not work…remember the war on drugs?
