Jack Martin & Associates, a division of Easton, Maryland-based Avon-Dixon Agency, announced that Damon Hostetter has rejoined the firm.
Hostetter will be the agency’s Yacht Division executive. He most recently was senior vice president of Chubb Recreational Marine, formerly ACE and the nation’s oldest marine insurance provider.
In this position at Chubb, Hostetter was responsible for directing the overall growth and profitability of the marine marketing and underwriting division. Chubb Recreational Marine is part of Chubb’s high-net-worth personal lines business in North America.
Prior to his tenure with Chubb and ACE that began in 2008, Damon was CEO of Jack Martin & Associates for five years. Previously, he also spent 10 years at Zurich Marine Insurance in Baltimore, serving in several positions of increasing leadership, culminating with his appointment as vice president.
Hostetter has 23 years of claim, underwriting and sales experience in the recreational marine business, and his maritime background includes serving in a leadership capacity as a U.S. Naval officer.
