Connecticut’s Business Risk Partners Hires Bizzoso and Landaverde

Business Risk Partners (BRP), a specialty underwriter and program administrator based in Windsor, Conn., hired Greg Bizzoso as an E&O product manager and team leader for miscellaneous professional liability (MPL) and Annamaria Landaverde as a cyber practice leader for its expanding portfolio of cyber solutions.

Bizzoso brings more than 20 years of experience to BRP’s MPL business, which covers more than 150 professions nationally, along with specialty programs for real estate and property services, home inspectors, technology service providers and architects and engineers.

In her new role, Landaverde will oversee the improvement and expansion of BRP’s admitted and non-admitted cyber offerings, ranging from stand-alone data breach and privacy solutions to protection for technology service firms looking to combine E&O with cyber coverage.

For more than a decade, she worked in various professional liability and cyber insurance roles, underwriting risks ranging from small businesses to global accounts.

Most recently, she worked at Starr Companies, where she served as a national cyber practice leader responsible for launching the firm’s cyber products. At Starr, she also handled the firm’s professional liability and cyber portfolio for the New York region.

She began her career at AIG, where she served as a senior underwriter for specialty products throughout the U.S.
