What possible reason (“decision made in the 1980’s”) could they have to NOT insure firefighters? I can’t feel sorry for the city’s cost for this when they decided to basically self-insure…… I do feel sorry for the tax payers who now have to pay for the “decisions” of their government employees that made this choice.
